It was becoming a bright sunshiny day as Crystal sang to herself kneeling on the kitchen floor scraping off remnants of pet food that had dried and stuck to the linoleum near her dog’s bowl. She knew Spotting would snap at her rapid hand movements so she had been forced to lock him outside the house on a leash.
